Throughout October, we had the pleasure of hosting clients in Rockhampton, Sydney and Melbourne as part of our latest Client Investment Forum series.
The forums explored two important topics: understanding the trends influencing investment markets and preparing for key life decisions before they need to be made.
Global Market Outlook
The forums opened with a market update from J.P. Morgan, featuring Stefania Vivarini, ETF Specialist, in Rockhampton and Sydney, and Kerry Craig, Global Market Strategist, in Melbourne.
Facilitated by Danny Wong, Manager, Research, and Samuel Chandra, Senior Investment & Research Specialist, the sessions explored where investors are finding opportunities, how capital is moving through markets and the themes influencing portfolio decisions.
Working closely with global investment managers such as J.P. Morgan allows us to bring these perspectives directly to clients and provide greater insight into the thinking behind portfolio decisions.

Protecting Your Wishes. Supporting Your Family
The second session brought together Kerri Mendl, Managing Adviser, Lifestyle and Care at Alteris, and Brad Sandilands, Co-Founder of Quality INSITE, to explore a question many families don’t consider until circumstances force them to:
“If I couldn’t make the call tomorrow, who would?”
Drawing on real-life experiences and examples, Kerri and Brad unpacked the role of Powers of Attorney, intergenerational planning and the steps families can take to ensure their wishes are understood and respected.
The discussion encouraged guests to consider who would step in to make decisions on their behalf and whether the right arrangements are in place before they’re needed.
By documenting their wishes and having important family conversations early, families can help reduce uncertainty and provide greater clarity for those closest to them.
