Alteris Staff Day: Sharing the Vision

Once a year, Alteris staff come together to celebrate the team and reflect on the company’s values and objectives. It’s been a while since we were all able to gather in person to work side by side, sharing an office space.

In the past year, there has been a significant change to the Alteris team and brand.  We are so excited to announce that we have recruited several new members of staff to our growing team and we have relocated our office space to a beautiful new space.

On this day, our team had the chance to reconnect in person and work towards a common goal in a positive workplace culture but also to introduce the ‘new space’, a celebration of our new office and we welcome clients to our new home.

During the first half of the day, our leadership team presented a plan for the future while reflecting on the accomplishments of the last 12 months.

The purpose of these presentations were to:

  • Reach shared understanding on strategic direction and priorities
  • Discuss challenges and identify ‘good ideas’ for consideration
  • Welcome new staff and provide the opportunity for them to get to know the team
  • Provide a safe space for team members to share their thoughts

The afternoon was all about us as we took part in a workshop about embracing change and connection, facilitated by the team from One Beyond Success. Everyone had the opportunity to connect with our colleagues while we learned more about what drives us and what drives others. Themes included using the power of the subconscious mind and intrinsic motivation in our everyday work and life, and we learned what everyone loves most about being part of Alteris which was a fun and uplifting experience.

Most importantly, our team experienced how important it is to feel heard, seen and valued for who we are by those we work with, creating true connection, strong collaboration, and a culture of belonging.
